Our model-specific wings are designed to bring select car models up to GT3 specifications. These custom-fit carbon fiber wings are tailored for specific car platforms, eliminating the need for additional scanning or design costs. Our lineup includes wings for the following Honda® models: 2024 Civic FL5 Type R. Each wing is engineered to ensure optimal aerodynamic performance and seamless integration with your vehicle.
A wing profile refers to the shape and dimensions of a wing's cross-section. For our model-specific wings, we have selected a chord length of 320 millimeters for optimal aerodynamic performance.
The standard and recommended wing span, defined as the distance from one end of the wing to the other, is 1750mm. For custom lengths (at no extra cost), please contact us directly. A longer wing span enhances downforce and stability, resulting in increased drag. Conversely, a shorter wing span reduces downforce and drag, which can boost top speed but decrease stability. The choice of wing span should be based on the required balance between downforce and speed.
Endplates are vertical panels attached to the tips of a wing. Their primary function is to reduce wingtip vortices, which enhances aerodynamic efficiency. The endplates of this wing, inspired by the design of our Porsche Cup wing endplates, feature a distinctive angled cut at the lower edge to optimize airflow, seamlessly combining functionality with the bold, aggressive aesthetic of the FL5 Type R.
Uprights are the vertical supports that attach the wing to the car, positioning and securing it at the desired height and angle to ensure optimal aerodynamic performance. Our single-element, model-specific wings feature top "swan neck" mounts, precision CNC-machined from 6082-T6 aluminum. These mounts have undergone FEA analysis to ensure maximum strength and minimal weight. They are mounted directly to the stock OEM mounting points.
